South Sudan Government in Juba has expressed concerns over the effects of the ongoing Sudan' conflicts on the trade relation with Sudan.
Authorities in the states bordering Sudan like Upper Nile have reported sharp decline in the flow of basic goods from Sudan.

it has been reported that prices of food items like onions and Sugar have increased rapidly in all corners of South Sudan.  Traders who imports goods from Sudan have claimed that they have been threatened by armed militias on the border and trucks looted. Sudan has been rocked by violence between two rival military commanders who have disagreed on power sharing in the govt. South Sudan relies on Sudan’s imports.
